Marshall DaShiell Hitch III, 65, of Forest Park

Marshall DaShiell Hitch III died in his home in Forest Park, Ga., on Friday, May 25 at age 65.

Marshall was formerly of Milford, Conn., where he was active in the Boy Scouts of America and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also active in the Atlanta area community theatres. He played the lead role of Tevye in seven different productions of "Fiddler on the Roof" among many others.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marshall Jr and Ruth, his sister Rae, his son Justin, and his stepfather Bernard.

He is survived by his wife Jo, brothers David, Jeffery, and Harold, son Marshall IV, and daughters Veronica, Megan, and Tierza.

His ashes were scattered at Camp Sequassen in New Hartford, Conn. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in his name to the Connecticut Yankee Council, Boy Scouts of America (800-333-7905).
