Cary to speak at FFUMC tonight
Carolyn Cary. Fayette County Historian, will be the speaker at tonight’s 6:30 p.m. meeting of the United Methodist Men at Fayetteville First UMC in Fayetteville. The meeting will be held in the church fellowship hall.

Bethany UMC plans barbecue June 16
Bethany United Methodist church will host a barbecue Saturday, June 16 from noon until all barbecue is sold out. Plates are $7, and include sandwich, sides, dessert and drink. The church is at 607 Rivers Rd, in north Fayette County (where Rivers changes to Milam and crosses Lee’s Lake Road).

Real Life Center needs donations
The Real Life Center, which operates a food pantry, has a continuous need for food/pantry items. Donations can be dropped off at the Real Life Center, 382 Senoia Rd., Tyrone, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. - noon, and Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m. The center is sponsored and supported by several churches in the area.
