Soileaux-Gagliano

Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Soileaux of Rayne, La., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Leslee Ann, to Samuel Major Gagliano, son of Commander and Mrs. Paul Gagliano of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Lorraine and Robert Myers of Crowley, La; Jimmy and Peggy Smith Sr. of Rayne, La.; Marilynn Soileaux of Rayne, La.; and the late Elton Soileaux. She is a 2004 graduate of The Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, La. She earned a B.A. degree in May 2010 from Aquinas College in Nashville, Tenn. with a major in theology and minor in philosophy. She will be employed as a special education teacher with the Archdiocese of New Orleans this fall.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Major Thompson of Johns Creek, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gagliano of Auburn, Ala. He is a 2003 graduate of Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Ala., and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Military College in Milledgeville where he served as Regimental Command Sergeant Major of the 127th GMC Corps of Cadets. He earned a B.A. degree in public administration in May 2010 from Auburn University. He will attend Loyola Law School this fall. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and is currently a member of the Georgia Army National Guard. In 2007-2008 he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The couple will be married in a Nuptial Latin Mass on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, La. Following a Caribbean honeymoon cruise, the couple will reside in New Orleans.
