Summer means reading time

The Fayette County Public Library and The Friends of the Public Library invited children of all ages to join in this summer’s Vacation Reading Program. There is a wide variety of programs planned Monday through Thursday for the various ages. Children coming to the official kickoff received stories, balloons and ice pops as treats. Schedules can be found on the Web and in the library. Photo/Carolyn Cary.
