Health screenings offered at Back to School Bash in Jonesboro

Amazing Grace Community resource Center will offer a Community Live Celebration/Back to School Bash on July 5 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the center, 949 Pointe South Parkway in Jonesboro.

The event will offer health screenings, including diabetes and sickle cell tests, a Choice Program Seminar for teens and young adults, “Stop the bullying” discussion and literature, an insurance seminar with information on wills and trusts, Safe-Kids promo information by the police and fire departments, games, moonwalk, music, raffles and a clothes closet, school supplies (while supplies last), Internet Cafe’, family counseling and Need-A-Prayer ministries, vendors selling quality, affordable items (clothes, shoes and food for $1), several free giveaways and community outreach programs.
