Massie-James engagement

Joseph and Rebecca Mayo of Fayetteville, Ga., and Barry Massie of Conyers, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Massie, to Edward Jeffers (Ted) James, son of William and Phyllis James of Winchester, Ky., and Rachel and Larry Marshall of Elizabethtown, Ky.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Fayette County High School. She also earned a Bachelor of Music from Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga., and is a recent graduate (Master of Arts in Christian Education) of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky.

Hannah is employed at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington, Ky.

The groom-elect is the Quality Assurance Manager and Principal Auditor at Murty Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Lexington, Ky.

Ted graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

The wedding will take place on June 23, 2012, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington, Ky.

Following the wedding, the couple plans to reside in Lexington.
