Bethany UMC will host barbecue June 16
Bethany United Methodist church will host a barbecue Saturday, June 16 from noon until all barbecue is sold out. Plates are $7, and include sandwich, sides, dessert and drink. The church is at 607 Rivers Rd, in north Fayette County (where Rivers changes to Milam and crosses Lee’s Lake Road).

Prophet Chambers Training seminar planned
Christ Discipleship Ministries, 114 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, will host a seminar titled Prophet Chambers Training Saturday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier.
