Community Christian to host Nicaraguan missionaries

On behalf of Global Ministries of the Christian church, Community Christian Church and God’s City of Refuge Christian Church, in partnership, will host a morning of worship and fellowship with special guests, Tim Donaghy and Laura Jean Torgeson, missionaries from the Christian Mission Church in Nicaragua.

The community is invited to participate and worship on Sunday, June 29, at 11 a.m.

The missionaries will present information and answer any questions regarding missions in Nicaragua and the Christian Church’s (Disciples of Christ’s) role in helping to fight poverty and social injustices in that region. Pot-luck dinner will be served immediately after the service. All are welcome.
