Galloway Anniversary

Herbert and Josie Galloway of Peachtree City celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2012.

Herbert and Josie both grew up in North Carolina and came to Atlanta in 1942. Herb became the 20th person to work with the CAA (FAA) Air Route Traffic Control Center.

Living 18 years in southwest Atlanta they raised son, Herb, and daughter, Linda Lee. Then in1968 they moved to (the country) Peachtree City.

In 1975 Herb retired with the FAA in Hampton. Josie has spent most of the time in her beautiful yard.

They now spend many hours together watching all the critters outside the windows of their lake house. In addition to the two children, the Galloways’ family includes a daughter-in-law Margaret and one grandchild Laura and her husband Eric Bondoc.
