SMHS grad graduates from OCS

Nicholas Abelein, a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2008 graduate of University of Georgia, graduated from Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 15-10.  Graduation was at Newport, Rhode Island on May 28.  He is currently attending Surface Warfare Officers School (SWOS) in Newport and will be reporting to USS O’Kane (DDG-77) homeported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
