COS to host Lutheroad camp this month

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will host Lutheroad Day Camp July 22-26. The hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. - noon.

Children who will be in first through sixth grades in the 2013-14 school year are invited.

The cost is $165 per child, and although the number is limited, openings are still available.

“Lutheroad provides children with a quality Christian ‘camping’ experience in the familiarity of their own community,” according to COS Director of Children and Family Ministry Candace Robichaux.

Leaders/counselors are from the staff of Lutheridge Outdoor Ministries in North Carolina.

The theme this year is “Faith Alive.” Included are Bible studies, outdoor activities, worship, games and creative projects, all tied to a daily theme. Go to http://www.coslutheran.org to register or get more information.
