Fayetteville crash sends 1 to hospital

One person was transported via ambulance as a result of this two-car collision late this morning at the intersection of Jimmie Mayfield Boulevard and Helen Sams Parkway in Fayetteville.

The force of the collision caused the Ford Explorer to flip onto its side. But it was the driver of the Buick auto who was taken to the hospital by Fayette County paramedics.

None of the injuries in the wreck were believed to be life-threatening.
