Nude pix lead to man's arrest

A Fayetteville man was arrested June 30 for sending unsolicited nude photos to three victims via his cellphone, Fayette County sheriff’s investigators said.

Thruman H. Jones, 53, was charged with five counts of distributing obscene materials depicting nudity.

The incidents occurred on June 13, June 20 and June 27, investigators said.

Also, two others have been arrested in connection with a separate case involving the theft of motor vehicle parts, investigators said. William Ray Rogers, 31, of Riverdale and Michael David Bailey, 38, of Fayetteville are accused of taking the parts from a tractor located on Cedar Trail June 28.

Rogers was arrested July 5 and Bailey was taken into custody July 6. Both were charged with felony theft by taking.
