Feeling like a firefighter

The Public Safety Expo at Drake Field in Peachtree City on July 4 gave visitors a good sense of what police officers and firefighters do and what equipment they use. The annual Water Battle took place in the afternoon and afterwards children got to hold the hose as it sprayed out gallons of water. Also making appearances at the event were Hawk 1, the Sheriff’s Department helicopter, one of the Peachtree City Police Department’s new motorcycles and a fire truck. Photo/Michael Boylan.
