Have you seen this SUV?

Police are hoping this grainy snapshot of a getaway vehicle might jog someone's memory and help solve a bank robbery from July 8 at the RBC Centura Bank in Fayetteville.

The three gunmen, armed with an assault rifle and two handguns, used duct tape to bind three of four bank employees, but none were injured, police said. One shot was fired into the air when they entered, police said.

The surveillance video shows the dye pack exploding inside the blue SUV, police said.

Anyone with information on this vehicle or the robbery is asked to call Fayetteville Detective Todd Chitwood at (770) 719-4224.

Surely someone can narrow it down a little.

And the dye color would be helpful.

with the sport package, based on the size of the wheel package. Fairly new model too.

Here's a link to a clear picture of one.

So how many blue ones can be registered in Clayton County? Should be easy to check out.

Leased

Dadgum cars look all alike now-a-days. I thought it was one of those Ford Edge thingys pimped out with them rent-a-roll rims. I too suspect it's stolen.

If this article is correct, and that dye pack exploded inside, it will never come out or off. So, if it is leased or rented, they will be caught. If they try to get it cleaned, just have law enforcement notify all the car washes and detailers to report when they show up with it.

Stolen? Probably will burn it.

Doesn't really matter, the car most likely stolen too!
