The fish she would not let get away

Gabrielle Klinger, 17, of Peachtree City had to go the extra fathom to haul in this 12 pound, 1 ounce beauty of a largemouth bass at Lake Kedron Monday. Fishing with a friend off the dock in nothern Peachtree City, the fish took the bait but managed to break the line. Klinger jumped into the shallow water to grab the 29-inch fish before it could get away. Photo/Special.

I wish the fish along Marco Island would cooperate.

Congratulations to the young lady. I think that's pretty cool. Great catch!
