Arthur Bell, age 96, of Fayetteville

Mr. Arthur "A.D" Bell, age 96, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

Mr. Bell was a WWII Veteran , serving the U.S. Army. He was a General Electric retiree and a member of First Christian Church of Tyrone.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bessie "Betty" Bell of Fayetteville; daughters, Janet Caldwell and husband, Pete of Fayetteville; Diane Harwell and husband, David of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lindsay Cleven and husband, Todd, Shelby Harwell, Michael Boyd and wife, Julie, Andy Caldwell and wife, Teresa, Jason Caldwell; great grandchildren, Rylin Cleven, Hailey Cleven, Kylie Boyd, Calvin Boyd, Ryan Boyd, Tyler Caldwell, Shea Caldwell, Raina Caldwell.

A funeral service was held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Minister Billy Rowe officiating.

Interment followed at Westview Cemetery. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Kansas 66675.

The family received friends two hours prior to the service at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-964-4800.
