Jones-Taylor Engagement

Fred Jones and Ms. Lana Jones of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Paige Jones, to Matthew Chad Taylor, son of Stan Taylor of Anderson, S.C. and Ms. Teresa Beals of Greenville, S.C.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Adams Sr. of Griffin and Claude Jones and the late Ruby Jones of Peachtree City. She is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in art with a concentration in photography.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Johnnie Cothran of Anderson, S.C. and Ms. Annette Elliott of Spartanburg, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie Taylor of Prosperity, S.C. He is a 10-year member of the United States Air Force, serving as a technical sergeant stationed in Charleston, S.C.

An Isle of Palms wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, with a reception following on Shem Creek. Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
