Robert Edward Nisbet, 82, of Senoia

Robert Edward Nisbet, 82, of Senoia, passed away July 28, 2014. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He also worked 40 plus years in commercial aviation.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Sue Nisbet; sons Michael David (Karla) Nisbet and Mark Douglas (Elisa) Nisbet; daughter Virginia Lynn Hilts; grandchildren Kim, Bobby, Douglas, Steven, Thomas, Erica, Ashley and Anna; great-grandchildren Anna Belle, Carter and Emeric; also brother Carl F. Nisbet, Jr.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, College Park. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Alzheimers Foundation at www.alzfd.org.
