Providence UMC senior high youth return from N.C. mission

The Providence UMC Senior High Mission Team recently returned from Asheville, N.C. where they worked in mission through ReCreation Experiences. For the past eight years, the Providence students have worked on a home for someone in need in Asheville and surrounding areas. This year they roofed, painted and sealed the basement of Mr. Sammy Parker’s home. A highlight for the week was a visit with their client from last year, Miss Emma, who was overjoyed to see the team when they arrived at her home.

The Starr's Mill Panthers boys golf team finished fourth in Monday's AAAAA state tournament. The McIntosh Chiefs finished eighth as a team. Cambridge won the team title with a +6 (290).
