First Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. in Peachtree City recently announced the addition of three musicians: David Stivers, choir director; Susan Scheuer, choir accompanist; and William (Bill) Pasch, organist.

Stivers also sang for many years with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Chorus under the direction of Robert Shaw.

He has directed church choirs of various denominations since age 16.

Susan Scheuer graduated with a bachelor and master of music education from Indiana University where she majored in piano and choral music, studying under Robert Hamilton.

Scheuer taught music, geography, and French for 24 years at Booth Middle School in Peachtree City before retiring in 2004.

Pasch began his service in music at age 13 and has been a church organist in Ohio, Maine, and Georgia. He last served as organist and choir director at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Atlanta.

He is the composer of several choral anthems and award-winning hymns.

Pasch is a professor of English, emeritus, Clayton State University where he worked for 31 years, serving as head of the Department of Humanities for ten years.

He achieved his Ph.D. in English from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
