BoE Chairman Presberg stands with Hollowell campaigner

The Fayette County political tradition of street-corner campaigning got a new participant Tuesday morning and maybe the start of a new tradition: Cross-party politicking. Leonard Presberg, appointed chairman of the Fayette County Board of Education and a declared Democrat, stands with a sign-carrying supporter of Post 1 Republican school board candidate Scott Hollowell at the busy intersection of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway. Hollowell is running for the open seat being vacated by Janet Smola in the Republican Primary today. Photo/Special.

Presberg on a corner, a Hollowell sign in Smola's yard, I guess Smith will be Hollowell's next supporter.

Chk their Facebook ... Maybe blocked now ... And check
Hollowell's political public group.. Now for classy individual check Mike Smola.
Three common things in their friends Terri smith Leonard Pressberg Janet Smola and Scott Hollowell's personal Facebook

Peas in a Pod - Presberg, Smith, and Hollowell at a Meet and Greet together on 07/24 at River Oaks. Pretty convenient!!

Let me intimidate a 12 yr old .... Now this.
Leonard Presberg maybe the dumbest man in Fayette County ( maybe the world) or unethical at least.
Heck maybe both.

Your choice

(IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT) GOD ALWAYS DOES FOR US WHAT WE CANT DO FOR OURSELVES...

I can't think of any way he could hurt Hollowell's chances more than by endorsing and campaigning for him.

Yes...very classy, not! I read something about vd warts on his site.
Can't remember exactly, but i saved a pic of the screen.

yes, everyone went for a look at the slam Janet Smola's husband made at Dr Marchman. Problem is the Marchman's are so far above that...they wouldn't even know what Smola was talking about.

Now Janet Smola and husband...Woody they or Woody they not?????

.

Political parties on a local basis have less significance than they do nationally. I had to laugh at a recent candidate forum when one candidate expressed his opinion on the anti choice/pro choice matter. When will they ever be considered at a county commissioners meeting.

Everybody seems to dislike Pressberg and so far it appears that it's only because he's supposedly a democrat. Give the man a chance and see how he performs in office. In two years, if you still don't like him vote him out!

And he certainly has a right to support another candidate, much like the Cathy's have a right to express their views.

On another note, elections for Sheriff, Coroner and possibly a few others should be non-partisan. I mean really does it matter?

Half the republican candidates (or more) would run as democrats if they were in the majority in Fayette County!

I was one of those here yelling over the roar here to give him a chance and to at least see how he votes before condemning the man simply because he is a Dem, free thinker, maybe a Christian or maybe not, etc.

Since he's been chair, I have a problem with:

a) district voting and appeasement
b) extending Bearden's not-expiring contract
c) obvious alliance with Smith and Smola, two horrible BOE members that are directly responsible for most of the financial disaster our school system is in right now
d) acting like a goof in the July 4th parade. I also stated here that the Silly String sprayer and his bozo Dad are both as culpable, but really? Should have just just let it go, suburban wanna-be Grizzly Adams.

Him being a Democrat or atheist or whatever else isn't on my list. His sucky votes, having ANYTHING to do with incompetent morons like Smith and Smola, and acting like a clown are, though.

That's what you said - specifically "....see how he performs in office. In two years, if you still don't like him vote him out!" referring to Pressberg.

So, let us apply the same dictum to Dan Cathy "...see how he performs in office. In two years, if you still don't like him vote him out!"
Well, I think Dan has performed very well in his office/company and I have no plans to vote him out. On the other hand, the supporters of gay marraige have performed pretty well in their "office" or "position" so maybe they need kudos as well. But I'm voting those little buggers out of my life - hear that? My life.

What a screwed up situation we are in. Give me back the '70's and '80's.
