Vigil planned Friday for crash victim

A candlelight prayer vigil will be held Friday evening on behalf of the daughter of a local woman who was seriously injured in a car crash in Atlanta.

The victim is Julia Tarter, who is the daughter of Peachtree City Farmers Market and Community Garden Director Tricia Stern. Tarter is in a coma at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

The candlelight vigil will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the city's Community Garden located off McIntosh Trail directly across from Lake Peachtree.
