Auditions for PTC Civic Ballet's 'The Nutcracker'

The Peachtree City Civic Ballet Company announces open auditions for the annual Fayette County Nutcracker Ballet on Saturday Aug. 21. With a cast of over 100 roles, dancers from the entire area ages 3 and up of all levels are invited to attend the free audition. The Civic Ballet Company presents this classic holiday extravaganza complete with delightful scenery, beautiful costumes, and traditional choreography.

The auditions will be held at Peachtree City School of Dance. Dancers ages 3, 4, and 5 audition from 12-12:30 p.m., ages 6, 7, 8 from 12:30 – 1 p.m., ages 9 through 12 from 1 – 2:30 p.m., ages 13 and up 2:30 – 5 p.m.

According to Artistic Director, Kathleen Senger, it is an honor to present The Nutcracker Ballet to our community each year. It is our mission to provide performing opportunities for talented young dancers and to showcase the art of Ballet to the community.
