In this heat, 1-a-days are better than 2

Despite some storms playing havoc with their field and locker rooms and heat indexes over 100 in the week leading up to school, the Fayette County Tigers took to the practice field early in the morning to start preparations for the 2010 season. The Tigers will host Jonesboro in a scrimmage this Friday. Other scrimmages in the county this week include Whitewater hosting East Coweta at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Starr’s Mill hosting Pebblebrook at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Photo/Michael Boylan.
