Heritage launches fall season with humorist Barry Mitchell

Heritage Christian Church’s Family Ministry invites local families to worship services on Sunday, Aug. 18, at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Children, ages kindergarten through sixth grade, will be promoted to their new classes and meet their new teachers.

To launch the new season, kids will enjoy the magic and storytelling of Barry Mitchell during both worship hours. Childcare for babies and toddlers is provided at both services.

Mitchell is a motivational speaker and humorist using magic, storytelling, and lots of audience interaction to deliver encouragement. He has been a humorist and children’s entertainer for over three decades. Thousands of audiences and groups have laughed and learned through Mitchell’s message and humor.

“He entertains and encourages individuals to live up to their potential,” a spokesperson said. “Barry creates laughter, inspires thought, and helps people feel great! He gives people M.O.R.E. through: Making people feel important, Opening communication through laughter, Researching one’s particular needs, and Encouraging excellence. His message will be fun with a description of trust and relate to how we can trust Jesus and be sure He is God.”
