Laval-Klein engagement

Marc Laval and Ms. Eliane Sellem of Dunwoody announce the engagement of their daughter, July Melanie Laval, to Michael Davis Klein, son of Judge (ret.) and Mrs. Richard P. Klein of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Raymonde Laval and the late Maurice Laval of Lille, France; and the late Djorah and David Sellem of Paris, France. She moved to Atlanta from Paris, France in 1999, and attended North Springs High School in Sandy Springs. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is employed with The Wendy’s Company as a brand accountant.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the Rev. Frank Klein and the late Elizabeth (Bette) Klein, Mrs. Peggy Davis and the late Colonel John G. Davis (USAF). He attended McIntosh High School and Georgia State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in managerial sciences in 2008. He is an operations manager for Applied Industrial Technologies in Flowery Branch.

The wedding and reception will be held at The Heritage Green in Sandy Springs on Oct. 22, 2011. Following a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Dunwoody.
