No. Fayette UMC plans 5K run/walk, barbecue, craft fair Sept. 24

Registration is taking place for North Fayette United Methodist Church’s Fifth Annual “Find Your Way” 5K Run/Walk, set for Saturday Sept. 24, at 8 a.m., at 847 New Hope Road, Fayetteville. A Craft/Flea Market and barbecue will be held after the 5K Run.

Early registration for the event is $20 through Sept. 12. After that the cost is $25 up to race day. The race will begin and end at the church.

The event is open to runners and walkers of all age groups.

This is an officially timed event, and will be held rain or shine. Runners start at 8:30 a.m. and walkers begin at 8:35 am.

Winners in each category will receive a trophy. All participants receive T-shirts and other gifts.
