Meaders-Toliver engagement

Mr. and Mrs. David Meaders of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Allison Meaders, to Dustin Kevin Toliver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Toliver of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Essie Meaders and the late Ralph Meaders of Snellville and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Hollis of Morrow. She is a 2004 honor graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and double-minored in comparative literature and Spanish. She currently works at a brokerage firm in Knoxville, Tenn.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Faye Toliver and the late William Toliver of Bainbridge, and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lanton of Jakin, Ga. He is a 2003 honor graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia, earning his bachelor’s degree in history. He recently earned his master’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Tennessee, where he is now employed as a research associate.

The wedding will be Oct. 9, 2010, at the inn at Serenbe in Palmetto. Following a honeymoon in Bermuda, the couple will reside in Knoxville, Tenn.
