Cub Scouts get into the swim

Cub Scout Pack 75 held their Back to School Party Aug. 25 at the Planterra Ridge pool, where they not only had fun swimming, eating, and fellowshipping, but got to earn their swimming belt loop. They learned the basics of water safety from the lifeguard and had to demonstrate swimming the length of the pool with a kickboard. Cub master Jim Moan also explained four rescue techniques, “reach, throw, row, and go (with support).” This was just one of many fun learning adventures Pack 75 will do this year. Mary Batcha is Den 7 leader. For more information on joining Pack 75, visit the website at Photo/Special.
