PTC woman cuffed for setting car ablaze

Police suspect insurance fraud; two other cars damaged

A Peachtree City woman was arrested Aug. 17 for arson and insurance fraud after she allegedly set fire to a vehicle two days earlier at the Concord Village Apartments, police said.

The fire also damaged two vehicles that were parked on either side of the blazing vehicle, officials said.

Juanita T. Tripp, 48, of Peachtree Station Circle was charged with three counts of first degree arson, two counts of second degree arson, two counts of making false statements or writings and one count of insurance fraud, officials said. All of the charges are felonies, police said.

The investigation was conducted by the Peachtree City Police Department and the Peachtree City Fire Department arson investigators along with the Georgia State Fire Marshall’s Investigative Unit, officials said.

Another in a long list. It will never end. Never.

Build a gate and fence around the place and put a sign out, "Danger-Enter at your own risk".

Have a good Tripp, Juanita.

Didn't you know that when you commit a felony you get kicked out of your free housing? Now you will have to ...um......"work" (sorry for the 4 lettered word) but now you will actually have to support yourself. I know all of the free money the gov. was giving you just wasn't enough was it? You had to commit insurance fraud to get a little more of all the free stuff you think you are entitled to. Glad you got caught.

This is not her first time before the judge. Two years ago, she was arrested and indicted on seven counts of scamming Wally World.

Now, if she was convicted then, how is it she was allowed to stay in Crimeony Village?

I guess if your name is Juanita and you live off the govt. and commit crimes, you just fit right into Obamaworld, now don't you? Maybe she is Uncle Omar's daughter.

Cy, if you can answer the above question, you get win a trip to go parasailing in Destin tomorrow morning, smartiepants.

Hopefully, by the time you get there, Isaac will be long gone and they will have big appetites for you.

I hope Juanita has a Tripp coming up, too, to some different gov housing.
