Jozan-Bowlden engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Jozan of Woolsey announce the engagement of their daughter, April Michelle Jozan, to Nicholas Robert Bowlden, son of Barry Bowlden and Denise Bowlden of Woolsey.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Betty Buehl of Riverdale and the late Max Buehl and Jolan Jozan of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and the late Laszlo Jozan. She is a 2007 graduate of Whitewater High School and a 2010 cum laude graduate of The University of West Georgia where she earned a bachelors degree in early childhood education. She is now pursing her M.S in elementary reading and math from Walden University.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Denise Franklin Crook Sr. of Fayetteville and Alton Bowlden of Griffin and the late Betty Bowlden. He is a 2004 graduate of Starrs Mill High School. He currently is employed by Future Forwarding in Forest Park.

The wedding will take place on Sept. 25, 2011, at The Hazlehurst House in McDonough. Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Senoia.
