Zauner-Bringuel engagement

John Zauner of Newnan and Ms. Amy Zauner of Newnan announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison, to Brandon Bringuel, son of Alan and Sebe Bringuel.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Northgate High School and is currently a senior at Kennesaw State University. She will graduate in May 2012 with a bachelors degree in early childhood education.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs Andrew Jerome Bringuel of Fayetteville, and Mr. and Mrs George Smith of Sharpsburg. He is a 2008 graduate of East Coweta High School and is currently a senior at the University of Georgia pursuing a bachelor of science in microbiology. Following graduation in May of 2012, he plans to attend medical school.

The wedding is planned for June 2, 2012.

The Georgia Department of Labor announced this week that the unemployment rate in the Three Rivers region in July was 7.1 percent, up five-tenths of a percentage point from 6.6 percent in June.
