GreekFest 2010 includes Greek dancing lessons

St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church of Peachtree City will host its 6th Annual Building Fundraiser, GreekFest 2010, Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Seymour Hangar at Falcon Field in Peachtree City.

Greek dancing lessons will be offered along with live music and dancing. Appetizers will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30. The “All you can eat and drink” menu includes many Greek delicacies including Dolmathes, Spanakopites, Greek salad, lemon chicken, and Baklava. Adult Beverages and soft drinks are included.

The Georgia Department of Labor announced this week that the unemployment rate in the Three Rivers region in July was 7.1 percent, up five-tenths of a percentage point from 6.6 percent in June.
