Anna Clare Reilly, 83, of Peachtree City
Mrs. Anna Clare Reilly (nee Herrmann), 83, of Peachtree City, passed away on August 29, 2013 at Ashley Glen after a long illness.
Mrs. Reilly was born on January 7, 1930 in Bronx, N.Y. and raised in the New York area. She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1952.
Mrs. Reilly is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Mr. William P. Reilly, and her son, Christopher, and brother George Herrmann.
Mrs. Reilly was a resident of Peachtree City for the past 2 years and before that a resident of Severna Park, Md. for 25 years. Her past residences include Huntington, N.Y., Columbia, South America, Woodcliff Lake, N.J., and Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Mrs. Reilly was a devoted wife and mother who raised seven children, and without complaint supported her husband's business while he was away on extended trips and later doted on her grandchildren. She is fondly remembered for her quiet, good natured strength and sense of humor, and her love of music and singing. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed the outdoors. She is a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and previously was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Severna Park, Md., where she sang in the choir.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Reilly DiBlasi (late Theodore) of Peachtree City, Ga.; her sons, William Reilly III (Antoinette) of Peachtree City; Timothy Reilly (Mary) of Bluemont, Va.; Matthew Reilly (Lina) of Annapolis, Md.; Daniel Reilly (Katherine) of Crownsville, Md.; and Thomas Reilly of Baltimore, Md.; her fourteen grandchildren, Giselle, Jonathan, Theodore, William, James, Hannah, Matthew, Dylan, Christina, Nicole, Daniel, John Patrick, Ethan, and Liam, and great grandchildren, Hudson and Porter; and her brother, Robert Herrmann (Betty Ann).
A memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City with a reception to follow.
