Volleyball roundup

Starr’s Mill is now 10-10 after a busy week that included three wins. The Lady Panthers won Aug. 27 over Union Grove (23-25, 25-22, 25-20) and Mundy’s Mill (25-6, 25-8) and lost to

McIntosh (25-15, 25-14). In two matches Aug. 29 they defeated Eagle’s Landing Christian (22-25, 25-21, 25-15) and lost to Columbus (25-20, 25-15).

Our Lady of Mercy won matches last week over Yeshiva in two straight, Pace in two straight and Mt. Vernon in two out of three. The Lady Bobcats lost to Paideia in two out of three games and AIS in two straight.

McIntosh opened area play with three match wins Aug. 27 with losing a single game. The Lady Chiefs defeated Mundy’s Mill (25-11, 25-4), Union Grove (25-19, 25-12) and Starr’s Mill (25-15, 25-14) to move to 8-3 overall on the season.
