COS to recognize pre-school ministry Sunday

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will recognize and honor its Preschool Ministry at the 11 a.m. service on Sept. 9. The preschool offers classes for children ages 2, 3, and 4, from two to five days a week.

Besides two teachers in every class, the staff also includes a Music and Movement teacher. Pastors Fritz Wiese and Miriam Beecher, along with others on the church staff, lead weekly chapel services.

The annual Preschool Picasso Auction helps support the Angel Fund, which offers tuition scholarships. This year the children supported several ministries with their gifts: Baby Peaches, Pajamas for Kids, and Operation Christmas Child. Colleen Ferris is the director.

More information is available by calling 770-487-0086 or by visiting www.coslutheran.org/preschool-ministry/.
