Free 9-11 Prayer and Remembrance concert planned for this Saturday

Fayetteville Main Street, in partnership with Covenant Presbyterian Church is presenting a free afternoon concert with a mix of prayers for the nation’s people and honor to those who have faithfully served their country on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Southern Ground Amphitheater beginning at 5 p.m.

The 70-minute program will be a mix of music and dialogue featuring solo singer, LaVada Vaillancourt McCosh; The Noteworthy Quartet; Music Alive; and Phil Danford and Casey Byrd from Gospel Community Church. Local community leaders will also offer brief prayers and perspectives relating to the historic and tragic day in our nation’s history.
