New church, special service

The Cornerstone Church, now in its new location in Fayette County, will host its Annual Civic Organization Day on Sunday Sept. 16 at the 9 a.m. worship service. The service celebrates organizations and individuals who are making a positive difference in the community. This year Cornerstone will acknowledge the Fayette County Area Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The church is at 640 Ebenezer Church Rd., Fayetteville. The Rev. Dr. Augustus T.
