Big band concert set for Newnan

The City of Newnan Cultural Arts Commission has announced a fall concert Sept. 20 at the Wadsworth Auditorium at 25 Jefferson Street in Newnan.
Big Band Explosion will feature Night Train, a 17-piece band who will perform an evening of big band, jazz, and swing hits from the 40s through today. According to bandleader Perry Peek, Night Train is “a big band that swings in the style of an era when bandleaders were the kings of swing.”

Big Band Explosion will begin at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $15 per person.

Tickets are available at: Let Them Eat Toffee, Coweta County Visitors and Convention Bureau in the Historic Courthouse, Harvest Christian Bookstore, Morgan’s Jewelers at Ashley Park, and Bank of North Georgia - Thomas Crossroads branch.
