Curriculum night is Sept. 25

Kids ‘R’ Kids of North Peachtree City, located at 10 Lexington Pass, invites parents of the community to meet the teachers and learn about the curriculum, academic enrichment programs, and technology used in the two-year-old through private pre-K classrooms.

This event takes place on September 25, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Not only will parents converse with the lead teachers of the 2 year through 5 year old students, but they also will meet the Mandarin Chinese teacher and the music appreciation teacher. Additionally, parents of our 3 through 5 year old students will meet the art appreciation teacher. The afternoon vendors who provide dance, gymnastics, soccer, and sports coordination lessons will be present.

In addition to learning about the Kids ‘R’ Kids curriculum, the teachers will provide information about the unique program Brain Waves. Kids ‘R’ Kids incorporated the Brain Waves activities as an addition to the curriculum in support of the abundant research regarding brain development during ages 3 through 5 years.

Research has found that significant connections are either developed by the age of five or lost. Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies provides the program that plays a crucial role of “wiring” a young child’s brain. This program includes activities such as puzzles, riddles, and dexterity exercises to stimulate the frontal, occipital, parietal, and temporal lobes of the brain.
