Soccer Olympian returns home

Olympic gold medal winner and Starr’s Mill High School graduate Kelley O’Hara (left center, holding medal) recently stopped by the Baseball/Soccer Complex in Peachtree City to inspire players at her former soccer club, AFC Lightning. O’Hara answered questions, signed autographs, and gave players the rare opportunity to see an Olympic gold medal up close. O’Hara is pictured here with her gold medal and members of the AFC Lightning U14 Premier team: Lindsey Licitra, Caroline Chang, Shannon Cleary, Haley Mason, Abby Burke, Ellie Marcum, Sully Wilkins, Madi Boyles, and Abby Cox.
