Christian Singers Workshop set for Oct. 1, 2, in PTC

Atlanta Christian College will host a Christian Singers Workshop on the college’s satellite campus, 800 Commerce Dr. in Peachtree City, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1 and 2.

Keynote speaker will be Sandra Dudley, assistant professor of commercial voice at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn..

Created to meet a need helping singers learn updated vocal techniques, the workshop focuses on singing skills used in praise and worship, inspirational, adult contemporary, gospel and pop styles.

On Friday, a vocal master class will be held from 1-5 p.m., followed that evening by the CSW Cabaret, featuring performances by Dudley as well as other musicians.

On Saturday, a general session of workshop classes will be held from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Those who register by Sept. 25 will receive a discounted rate of $125 for both days.
