FrontierFest set for Sept. 29 in Tyrone

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church invites the community to its FrontierFest on Sept. 29 at 411 Palmetto Road (last property before Coweta County, its new property in Tyrone.

Music begins at 10 a.m., outdoor worship starts at 10:30, lunch featuring Dickey’s Barbecue is at 11:30, and activities for all ages commence at noon.

Members will provide side dishes and desserts. Suggested donation for lunch is $5 per person, with a $15 family maximum.

Scheduled are pony rides, stick horse races, “gold rush,” water balloon toss, Corn Hole, and a “vintage” photo tent.

Worship leaders will be GraceFlock Band.

Participants are asked to dress casually and to bring their own lawn chairs.
