McIntosh 28, Mundy’s Mill 27: The Chiefs (5-0, 2-0) maintained their perfect record and matched their 2012 win total with a win at Twelve Oaks Stadium in Clayton County. After a bye next week, McIntosh will host Whitewater Oct. 11.

Drew 35, Starr’s Mill 34: The Panthers (2-3, 1-1) fell on the road in Clayton County and will host Creekside next Friday.

Whitewater 35, Forest Park 8: The Wildcats (4-1, 2-0) took the field Thursday at Southern Crescent Stadium in Clayton County and won their fourth straight. They will travel to Northgate next Friday.

Our Lady of Mercy 22, Pace Academy 14: The Bobcats (1-3, 1-0) burst into the win column in their first Region 5-A contest of the season and will play at Landmark next Friday.
