Drum beats for the dragon boats on Lake Peachtree

The weather was warm and skies were picture perfect Saturday at Drake Field in Peachtree City as teams from local companies, organizations and governments took to the waters of Lake Peachtree for the 4th Annual Dragon Boat Races, with two of the competing boats shown above. Both teams from Falcon Aviation Academy took home top honors as overall first and second place finishers. Complete with fun, food and excitement for the whole family, the annual event was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Peachtree City and Peachtree City Tourism. Photo/Ben Nelms.
