Pine straw fundraiser, Saturday, Oct. 16

It’s time for fall landscaping. Boy Scout Troop 279, sponsored by Holy Trinity in Peachtree City, is accepting orders for its Oct. 16 Pine Straw Fundraiser, just in time for fall landscaping projects. The cost per bale is $3 if you pick up your order, $3.50 per bale if the troop delivers it, within the Peachtree City limits. The pine straw bales will be available for pickup at McIntosh High School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16. The troop will drop off orders for delivery between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. that same day. Watch for a Boy Scout in your neighborhood, or contact Kimberly Gura at 770-634-1275, or e-mail her at k297@bellsouth.net.
