COS to bless animals

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites everyone with two legs, four legs, or fins to the Blessing of the Animals service on Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at 411 Palmetto Road. Just inside Fayette County, this site is the church’s 33-acre second campus. Prayers and songs will be offered, along with gifts for pets. Dogs should be on leash, and smaller animals might be caged for safety’s sake.
