Southern Crescent Alzheimers Memory Walk 2010 draws a special crowd

Memories live forever in the hearts of the mass of people who made their way to Peachtree Saturday morning for the 11th Annual Southern Crescent Alzheimers Memory Walk held outside the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater. The 5K walk/run brought families from across metro Atlanta's Southern Crescent to the event intended to continue the awareness of and foster research for the disease that has claimed the lives of more than 200,000 Georgians. Did The Citizen run an article announcing that there would be an alzheimers walk? What about the Promise Place walk? I couldn't find anything in a search. I would have liked to have participated in BOTH. I am extremely disappointed that the online version of The Citizen did not give me that opportunity.

of this paper. They always list a lot of things going on by date, etc in the FREE version I get twice weekly in my driveway.

You do not get the free comedy online that many of the local hucksters provide. I had no idea we had so many folks in this area who know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING. :)

Apparently condo units are not privileged enough to get the free delivered version in the driveway. :( Which is why I would appreciate some info in the online version.

It was not much of a surprise that the Peachtree City Council on Oct. 1 unanimously denied a variance request to reduce the 50-foot buffer on four residential lots along Robinson Road.
