Christian City hosts pancake breakfast, Oct. 30

Christian City is hosting their annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 8-10 a.m. in the parking lot behind the Welcome Center at Christian City located at 7345 Red Oak Road in Union City. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at The Children’s Village or at the event. After you’ve enjoyed the Pancake Breakfast, make sure you make your way down to Graceland Thrift Store to enjoy their Autumn Festival.

Graceland Thrift Store has great prices on new and used merchandise including holiday decorations, clothing, furniture, and crafts.  Homemade baked goods will be sold by local churches and other vendors. Don’t miss out on this great event that helps pay for the education of the kids who live in the cottages at The Children’s Village at Christian City.

Christian City has been caring for abandoned and abused children in a family centered residential setting since 1965. Over 1,000 children have called Christian City “home.” For more information about The Children’s Village, please call 770-703-2636 or visit www.christiancity.org.
